C3: Communal, Co-existence & Co-evolution
The Manatee/JT-1 robot series is a revolutionary technology & concept. Never before has a machine been designed to, simultaneously, correct environmental, social, political and economic imbalance. It is, arguably, the most powerful tool presented to the average person to better himself since the coming of the personal computer, and is comparable to the coming of the automobile & electricity. We have achieved that goal with an elegant design that integrates itself, seamlessly, into the world of today as it builds the world of tomorrow.
Using advanced, patented technology from the fields of cybernetics, electro-chemistry, robotics, biology and aerospace engineering these machines literally “see” flaws in the world around them and correct those flaws by restoring the natural balance and producing abundance as a result. They do this powered solely by the natural energy flowing all around us, all the time, while using whatever materials are at hand. Let's look at this revolutionary robot feature by feature.
First, why a robot? The answer to that is counter-intuitive. It has long been assumed that robots replace workers and, so far, that is mostly true. However, this presents a paradox. If robots made everything no one would have a job so there would be no one able to buy what the robots made and, thus, no need for the robots. Suppose the robot did not replace a worker. Suppose the worker owned the robot. Then the robot no longer replaces the worker, it replaces the employer. This is our philosophy and business model. Our robots are affordable by most people and they can perform the work of numerous people, thus making the owner the equal of many workers. The overall availability of goods & services increases and everyone benefits to various degrees, all without the need for edicts or insurrection. This restores balance to economic democracy which, in turn, restores balance to political democracy. Free Enterprise quietly supplants crony capitalism. In short, robots are MORE useful to people than they are to corporations as they provide an alternative economic opportunity and lifestyle. Freedom from want is the freedom upon which all the others are based.
Next, how does it know what to do? Whether we think of it that way or not, all systems, natural or man-made, need to remain in balance and regenerate themselves. Otherwise they ultimately consume everything and die. We tend to focus on our piece of the cycle, which gives the illusion everything is “once through”, but when you look at all the pieces together you see the cycle. The robots maintain, within themselves, an ideal cycle. Their A.I., artificial intelligence, uses sensors to detect the status of both the “ideal” system inside the robot, and the real-world system outside the robot. The A.I. calculates a stress gradient between the two and sets the robot to normalizing those stresses. These stresses are usually imbalances, too much of one thing, not enough of another. The robot removes the excesses and converts them into useful products that fill in the deficiencies. Balance is restored.
How does it restore balance? By a strange coincidence most activity in the natural world, and most industry & commerce, rely heavily on organic molecules. We are a collection of organic molecules. Everything we eat is organic molecules. Most of our clothing and building materials are organic molecules. All of our fuel is organic molecules. As you can see, organic molecules are the nexus where life and commerce co-exist. It seemed the best thing we could do was invent a method to turn one organic molecule into another. Of course, it couldn't use chemicals or produce a toxic waste itself. If it did we would just be substituting one problem for another. We also decided it would be powered solely by wind, sun or wave action. The result was our H-D-R process. It uses high-pressure pumps to create the pressures and temperatures needed to change one organic molecule into another. It does it, too,….. very well. In operation the robot senses imbalances in the environment around it. The robot sucks up the excess material and, using the H-D-R process, turns it into useful molecules. Most are returned to restore the natural balance. Others are useful compounds that are kept to restore the economic balance. A win-win for all.
Why paraffin? We needed the robots to produce something that is useful for commerce. Again, nature provided a perfect solution. When the H-D-R process changes molecules it does this by letting the extremely high pressures and temperatures of a cavitation vortex (surface of the Sun pressures & temperatures) virtually explode the molecule and have it reform into a stable form. That form is the molecule right in the middle of organic molecules, C25, also known as paraffin. No catalysts or special sensors, or chemical treatments are needed. Fortunately for us, paraffin is the starting point for all the well-known fuels, gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. It is also a safe, clean burning fuel as is. Easy to make; easy to sell; perfect for us.
Why not sell this to oil companies? The reason is, again, counter-intuitive. Were we to license this process to an oil company they would use it to make fuel that is clean, green and much cheaper to make. However, history has shown they would, probably, not pass the cost savings along. They, probably, would charge a premium for “eco-fuel”. They would make money; we would make money, but our fuel would just be another 'input' into the global fuel industry. All the real advantages that could be used to make the world a better place would be lost. We are not entirely altruistic. Our analysis has shown we would do much better, financially, using our revolutionary business model; the perfect complement to our revolutionary technology. When there is more than enough for everybody you really don't need to control it all.
Let's restore the Earth together and be proud of what we have done.
